In 2016, Ukraine commemorated a sad 30th anniversary of Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) accident, undoubtedly planetary techno-genic catastrophe. Despite of decades that being passed, the problem of building a safe shelter over the Chornobyl NPP and utilization of its radio-active remains was not solved. To build the new, safe sarcophagus, the best construction and nuclear energy specialists from around the globe were attracted. Business concern “NOVARKA” (France) and specialists from Ukraine carried out the project. Governments of 28 states took part in the project as a money donors. The cost of the project was about €1, 5 billion, with the term of exploitation of 100 years. We were pleased that, as a result of tough competition, “NOVARKA” choose our company “Flytek” to be the reporter of completion of building of new sarcophagus. On November, 29, 2016, at 12PM, the celebration took place on the industrial zone of Chornobyl NPP. Guidance of Ukraine, representatives from international donors, and partners that collaborated on this hi-tech project were present. Video shooting of the event was conducted by the mobile TV-studio “Flytek”, in HD quality. The new Chernobyl sarcophagus is the biggest movable building in the world. It will allow specialists to begin safe dismantling and utilization of old building, called “Ukrittya” (“Shelter”), and remains of destroyed 4th power unit of Chornobyl NPP.
